How to use Mobile and Web App

V4U Ingress is a digital platform for employees to dynamically manage their shifts and stay up to date with their schedule Using the app, Employees can: 

  • Manage your shift
  • Manage your availability 
  • Keep your profile updated

Using the App

Register with V4U Ingress

In order for you to access the V4U Ingress app, you should be a registered employee with V4U Care Limited UK. Upon registration, you will be provided information about the login process for using the Web App

Installing the App

To install the web app, we would request you download the app from App or Play Store by searching for “V4U Ingress Customer”

Accessing the Web App

You can use the URL: http://ingress.v4ucarelimited.co.uk/ to login to the App.

 

Update your password

Navigate to My Profile Page

You will have the option to update your password and then click on the Update button. 

This will update your profile with a new password

My Profile

My Profile page will display your profile information with V4U Care. You will have the ability to update the following information

  1. Email ID
  2. Contact Number
  3. Password

While if you desire to update any other information like training, licenses, experience, etc… please get in touch with the V4U Care admin to update your profile

Resetting your password.

If you have forgotten or lost your password, Use the Lost Password link in the Login screen to navigate to the Reset Password page

  1. Enter your registered email ID to reset your password.
  2. Check your email for a reset password link.
  3. Click on the link
  4. This link will take you to the Update password page
  5. Update your new password. 

Your password has now been updated successfully.

Dashboard

The dashboard has three sections to give you a quick preview of the overall status of the shifts. 

Todays & Tomorrows Shift

This section shows the number of shifts in each different status for Today and Tomorrow. You will be able to click on the VIEW ALL  button in each widget to get a detailed view of the shifts in the specific status.

Next 5 days

This section shows thenumber of shifts in each different status for the next 5 days after tomorrow. You will be able to click on the VIEW ALL  button in each widget to get a detailed view of the shifts in the specific status.

Todays Shift

This section displays the details of shifts happening today in a table view with extensive details.

Viewing all shifts

In the Shifts page, you will see the following details about Shifts that are available for your facilities. 

Shift ID, Day, Date, Role, Shift Type, Start time. End time, Employee Name, Status, and a Cancel button

You will also be able to perform certain actions on these shifts

This table will display all the shifts that were created for you. 

Using Filters

In the Confirmed Shifts Screen, you will be able to Shifts by a specific date or date range, Role, Shift Status, and Shift Type. 

  1. Select one or a combination of these filters
  2. Click on Filter. 
  3. The table below will be updated with the Shifts specific to the selected filter condition. 

Resetting Filters

  1. Click on the Clear button to clear all the filter options.

Viewing Single Shift

To view the details of the single shift, you can on the particular Shift ID, a single shift will be displayed, in this screen, you will be able to view details of the shift and the details of the confirmed employee(If available). Additionally, you will be able to download the profile of the employee by clicking in the Download Profile button.

Canceling a shift

V4U Ingress recommends Customers to avoid canceling confirmed shifts as much as possible as there may be a cost associated with canceled shifts.

All Shifts starting after 24 hours from the current time. 

You will be able to cancel all shifts in the application and changes are reflected instantly.

Shifts starting within 24 hours from the current time. 

You will not be able to cancel shifts starting within 24 hours by yourself, you will need to get in touch with V4U Care at the earliest possible to cancel your shift. V4U Care will guide your cancellation process.

Add Shifts

As a Customer, you will be able to add new shifts for your facility by following the process explained below. 

  1. Click on the Add New Shift button at the top right corner
  2. Add New Shift Page will be opened.
  3. Fill the following details as all the fields are mandatory
    1. Shift Role
    2. Shift Type
    3. Shift Date
    4. Number of People required
  4. Click on Add Shift button

A popup will be shown with a confirmation that the shift was created successfully. 

You will now be able to see this information on the Shifts screen. 

Shift Start Time and End Time

Shift start time and end time will be auto-populated when the Shift type is selected is Day, Night, Early or Late. 

if the shift type is Custom, Start Time and End time should be added manually. 

Autogenerated Information

Kindly note that the Shift ID will be auto-generated. 

Adding a Custom Shift

The system also provides a feature to add a Custom Shift type, i.e. when your facility has a one-off requirement for a shift that does not follow the standard shift hours of Day, Night, Early or Late. 

You will be able to add new shifts for your facility by following the process explained below. 

  1. Click on the Add New Shift button at the top right corner
  2. Add New Shift Page will be opened.
  3. Fill the following details as all the fields are mandatory
    1. Shift Role
    2. Select Shift Type  as Custom
    3. Shift Date
    4. Start Time
    5. End TIme
    6. Number of People required
  4. Click on Add Shift button

A popup will be shown with a confirmation that the shift was created successfully. 

You will now be able to see this information on the Shifts screen.
